Help for Heroes Recovery Charity Trustees
Help for Heroes Recovery (formerly known as Tedworth House Charity) was set up in July 2011 to run the Recovery Centre at Tedworth House, Tidworth. It is not a fundraising charity, being primarily funded by Help for Heroes. It is in the process of expanding its operating scope to cover the Recovery Centres at Colchester, Catterick and Plymouth.
Steve Harman, chairman of the British Horseracing Authority, has been a valued trustee and director of Help for Heroes since 2010.
As CEO of Pennzoil in the USA 2006-9, Steve became exposed to and involved in the extensive US Forces rehabilitation, recovery and re-integration programmes.
Steve is now a member of the Durham University Board, Chairman of Ustinov College, Chairman of the British Horseracing Authority, and helps various Private equity and start-up projects.
