Help for Heroes Recovery Charity Trustees
Help for Heroes Recovery (formerly known as Tedworth House Charity) was set up in July 2011 to run the Recovery Centre at Tedworth House, Tidworth. It is not a fundraising charity, being primarily funded by Help for Heroes. It is in the process of expanding its operating scope to cover the Recovery Centres at Colchester, Catterick and Plymouth.
Rod Dunn MB DS DMCC FRCS (Plast) is a former Royal Marines Officer and Royal Navy Medical Officer who is now a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgeon at the Odstock Centre for Burns Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at Salisbury Hospital.
His special interests are Reconstructive Hand Surgery, Lower Limb Reconstruction (including revision of amputation stumps) and Peripheral Nerve Surgery. Rod and fellow Consultant Plastic Surgeon Miss Alex Crick have been involved in the treatment of wounded soldiers since 2008. They attend regular clinics at Headley Court, and with the team in Salisbury have operated on many patients with complex war injuries, often requiring multiple hospital admissions.
