Robbie WilliamsWe would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who attended or supported the Heroes Concert in Twickenham on 12th September. 60,000 people flocked to Twickenham to watch the concert which featured superstar Robbie Williams, who was joined by his former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow for their first performance together in 15 years. The headline act was joined by Tom Jones, James Blunt, Enrique Iglesias, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, Plan B and The Saturdays.

The show will be hosted by the best of the UK’s comedy talent - John Bishop, Kevin Bridges, Jack Dee, Jason Manford and Michael McIntyre – with a special guest appearance from Bruce Forsyth. Other acts who performed included Katherine Jenkins with Spelbound, Alesha Dixon and The Wanted.

The concert was shown on BBC 1 and the coverage was presented by Cat Deeley, who interviewed all the acts as well as our Co-founders, Bryn and Emma Parry, and some of our wounded Servicemen who explained what H4H means to them.

All the acts waived their fees to make sure that even more proceeds go to H4H to ensure direct, practical support for the wounded. The concert was sponsored by our friends at Hesco Bastion, who build the barriers that protect the bases for ‘our blokes’ in Afghanistan.

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, and to those who treated a troop to a ticket, your support is very much appreciated. It was an incredible night and proved just how much support the British public has for our wounded Servicemen and women. Thank you so much!

Alesha Dixon and Jason Manford
