Teddy ready
Well, I have been a very busy bear this week. As soon as I flew back from the front line in Basra I was off again, this time to the ehabilitation centre at Headley Court. This is where our injured boys and girls go to get better.

After checking in at the guardroom (they had to make sure that I was not a Bad Bear) I was given a visitor’s pass and shown round the rooms where the injured get treated. It was good to see some old friends from the bike ride and I even got a back massage. That was nice as a bear just loves a good rub down but it did leave me with rather sticky fur.

Headley Court

I had a good catch up with some of my friends who have been hurt. Adam was having Fizzio on his leg. He is really looking forward to going to the rugby on the 20th September and I think he will be pretty impressed with my bodyswerve.

Headley Court

It was really good to see Peter again, he was on the Mercury’s March last week, and to meet Jo who is really pleased to have his new legs and is working hard to learn to walk on them. They are such great guys; I feel really proud of them and it is good to see they are bearing up!

Next it was down to where they make new arms and legs. I couldn't resist lending a hand and then they gave me a leg up.

Headley Court

Headley Court is such a good place and it was really great to go and meet the patients and staff. I am sure everyone would like to write them a letter to say how wonderful they are and hope that they get better soon.

Bear Up!
