Help A Hero!

Our wounded not only need superb medical treatment and care but assistance in many other ways as well. Help A Hero provides a ‘matching’ service. You might want to help in a practical way, for example by offering some tickets to a football match or making a gift of some MP3 players. With our Help A Hero service we can ensure that your gift or offer can reach the most appropriate person.

We have links with Military Liaison Officers at both Selly Oak Hospital and the Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court and if you have a way in which you want to help, we will try to match it.

Please do not approach either place directly as the staff are working hard enough looking after our wounded and do not need to be taken away from their vital work.

Sometimes we need to appeal to you, the British Public for urgent help. Our wounded may need something, or a service, urgently and we will post that requirement here for you to react.

If a soldier, nurse or a relative needs a birthday present, Christmas stocking, a get-well card, some chocolate biscuits, a holiday, or just a treat, we will tell you here.
