Alison Bradley Gallery started their partnership with Help for Heroes in 2013, initially supporting with ad-hoc donations and tin collections from their gallery based in Betws-y-Coed, North Wales. Artist Alison Bradley and Jon Davies attended an art therapy session, and following that set up the Betws-y-Coed Challenge - a 5k and 10k run around the hills and surrounding area. All profits from the registrations and donations from the challenge are donated to the charity.

Although the gallery has since relocated to Chester, they continue to organise the annual event with a total of over £11,000 raised so far.

The event now includes a 5k and 10k run, a half-marathon, burgen and canicross trail runs, with donations increasing year on year. 2022's Betws-y-Coed event raised almost £2,000.
