What is it?
Relaxation is a 30-minute class where you will be guided through breathing techniques to relax your nervous system, taken through a body scan and then given the chance to enjoy your relaxed state. This will leave you feeling calm and refreshed.
Who is it for?
All beneficiaries: wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans and their families.
Why is it offered?
The breathing techniques taught in these sessions have been reported by other wounded or injured beneficiaries to reduce anxiety, improve quality of sleep and enhance focus. The classes also give you the chance to calm your mind and promote a healthy lifestyle.
