During August we have held a rain soaked family get together on Cannock Chase, and a huge thank you to the brave souls who attended and despite the appalling weather, did indeed track down the Gruffalo and his buddies in a very wet deep dark forest. We also had an offer for a garden make over in the Birmingham area courtesy of Argos and began work on a major project which will give us use of an amazing facility at Lilleshall if we can get it to completion. It really is very exciting and more detail to follow as the project progresses. If you love to get on your bike you are going to be very happy bunnies.
During September we have our biggest event in the Midlands to date with the BoB/BoS Black Tie Ball taking place at the very chic Malmaison Birmingham, and fear not if you haven’t been able to make this one-all being well l will look to be running something similar if this goes to plan. We also have a trout fishing day On Thursday 15th, a cricket day at Trent Bridge on Thursday 29th, a ten pin bowling night in Telford (Date TBC) and all being well some spa experiences for you hard working BoS! More bowling nights to follow in Hereford and Nottingham so I hope to see plenty of you with daft shoes on very soon.
There is also an opportunity for a little culture with free tickets to see The Importance of Being Earnest at The Birmingham Rep on 9th,10th and 15th September - full details in the offer coming to your email account this week.
Look forward to seeing many of you in your glad rags at the Black Tie Ball on Saturday 17th September!
