On the last day of the summer holidays we had a fabulous family fun day with Wiltshire Wildlife at Lower Moor Farm nature reserve. Thirty five BoB/BoS and family members got together and spent the morning learning how to use a compass. We had a delicious BBQ lunch and walked through the nature reserve into the woods for an amazing treasure hunt. Various activities gave the keen teams the vital clues needed to win the hordes of prizes.
We had this lovely thank you and photo from Richard Hubbuck:
On Wednesday 7th September I went with Tracy from the Support Hub to the Veterans Outreach Support drop in at The Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth. It was lovely to see some of you there. A representative from H4H will now be attending this event on the first Wednesday of every month – so please do come and see us.
The Shooting for Heroes team visited Longthorne gun makers in Northamptonshire and had a really interesting tour of the workshop. The afternoon was spent shooting clays with these amazing guns.
