Activities ramping up in the South-East

Projects and fundraising events are abound in the South East and London as the spring kicks in and people shrug off the winter.

In February, we kicked off with the ‘Heroes Breakfast’ campaign with Debenhams supporting H4H in their café’s up and down the country. We had four BoBs enjoy the hospitality of Debenhams staff and a delicious breakfast at the Oxford Street store in central London. They had a choice of a healthy continental breakfast right through to a full English eating with Debenhams staff who are doing a month of hard fundraising for us!

On 18 February we had 8 BoS at the London office for an evening of pampering, nibbles and a few drinks. There was also a BoB who gate crashed the event (who shall remain nameless). Of course he was taken in to the event and had a great time, he even had an Indian head massage and said: “it’s the most relaxed I have been in years!” We also had two nail technicians pampering the ladies, the nameless male BoB wasn’t interested in a manicure.

Dean Williams kindly hosted 8 BoB/BoS on the Thames Cruise on Saturday 27 February and he said that they had the most fabulous evening and they were all spoilt rotten.  Everyone enjoyed an Asian themed evening with belly dancing, Asian buffet, DJ and a cruise up and down the Thames! Dean will be sending Zoe some professional photos eventually.
