Plymouth was a hive of activity over the Christmas period with a special Christmas themed Veterans Friday as well as a BoB/ BoS lunch hosted at Elliot’s restaurant.
BoB/ BoS coordinator, Shirley Gray, roped in her daughter-in-law to make a Christmas cake for the veterans Friday event. Jock, the recovery centre manager, compered the quiz and loads of prizes were given out at the raffle.
The main Christmas lunch for the fellowships was held at Elliot’s restaurant and the Plymouth Holiday Inn. Even Father Christmas made an appearance! Everyone enjoyed a beautiful three-course meal, a gift from Father Christmas and a free raffle. 73 attended in total and everyone who said they wanted to come was there.
“I spent the afternoon in some lovely company, thank you very much to the BoB and BoS team. Your generosity of thought is second to none and very much appreciated. Fab to meet new faces!”
