Cycling the Edinburgh Streets

Cycling the Edinburgh Streets

It was a wet and windy start for three BoBs in the capital of Scotland. Both Wendy and Fiona had a recumbent bike and Mary was on a Tandem recumbent with the owner of the shop.

After being shown the ropes we set off through the centre of Edinburgh, round Arthur’s seat and the lake and past the Scottish Parliament building. It was great fun on the scenic route and thrilling to be in the thick of the city. it showed that anyone with who is less abled can have a go on a specially made bike.

Laid Back Bikes in Edinburgh is a specialist bike shop who caters for all types of disability and kindly donated an afternoon for three BoB/BoS to experience the thrill.

Wendy said “this was more than I could imagine and what a brilliant experience. Everybody should do it!”

Thank you to Laid Back Bikes in Edinburgh.
