July has seen the start of two new things; nice weather and your new Regional Coordinator for London and the South-East, Adrianna Bennett-Yard!
Adrianna had the privilege of spending last week training at Tedworth House being inducted into the BoB/BoS family. The final day fell on the Tedworth Fete which was brilliant! It was so wonderful for her to meet some of our wonderful BoB & BoS members and she loved getting the chance to chat to some of you. A big thank you to those who have given her such a warm welcome and provided her with some really great feedback - it’s been really helpful and cannot wait to meet you all.
On Tuesday 26 July Zoe and Adrianna were invited to play Softball with Blind Veterans UK in Regents Park. It is an event set up for charity staff to compete against each other to be crowned Softball winners. It was a great opportunity to network with other charities along with getting our “game face” on with our partner charity Blind Veterans UK.
Band of Brother and Blind Veterans ambassador, Simon Brown, joined them and showed us how it’s done!
It has been, yet another, busy month for Zoe and drop in clinics at Headley Court, Surrey, London and Oxford. It’s a great opportunity to get out and about to meet WIS and their families and see what we might be able to do to support them. If you would like to know more about the drop in clinics please contact Zoe.
So what's coming up?
August looks like its set to be really exciting! So far it’s a month of chocolate creations, beautiful cars and yummy pizza. Keep an eye out in your emails for an amazing opportunity to see wolves up close and personal! If you would like further information on offers that are coming up in your area please don’t hesitate to contact Adrianna on – she would love to hear from you!
