On a dreary day in November three international rugby players from Bath Rugby club took time out of their training schedule to visit Tedworth House and meet some of the 'blokes'.
Everyone did such a great job hosting the players and showing the facilities that H4H offers that they have since become a partner of the charity. They will fundraise for the charity and deliver training programmes for our beneficiaries.
Semesa Rokoduguni (England international), who is still attached to the British Army as a Lance Corporal in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, expressed his delight at the announcement. “I’m very proud that the Club has joined Help for Heroes in this partnership,” said the winger, who met some of his regimental colleagues during the visit. “I’ve seen first-hand the brilliant work that goes on in places such as Tedworth House. Sport is a huge part of military life, which is why I believe this partnership will be so effective.”
For more information about the new partnership or to be involved in high profile visits to Tedworth House, look out for information and emails from you regional coordinator, Philippa Haig.
