#RacingforHeroes – a wonderful experience and a great opportunity

Having waited with baited breath for the last few months for the BTCC season to start; the race meeting at Thruxton on the 9th and 10th May finally arrived…

Thanks to Team Power Maxed and #RacingforHeroes 3 Band of Brothers had the opportunity on the 9th May to visit the pits and team as well as watch the BTCC qualifying and the support race qualifying and racing.

This was an amazing chance to rub shoulders with the drivers and engineers and with a petrol head like myself along for the ride I had the time of my life. This also held poignant memories for me as I met my husband working on the ambulances at the BTCC meeting at Brands Hatch in 2007 and we are now about to celebrate our 5th Wedding anniversary and we had a chance to relive those years of memories again.

Thanks once again to all the staff at Power Maxed especially Josh Cook who have given us all this opportunity and their time and Peter Thorpe and the team from #RacingforHeroes as well as Vicky from H4H who looked after us.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Josh Cook good luck for the rest of the season in the Jack Sears Independence Trophy 2015.
