At the beginning of June, the Maldron Hotel in central Cardiff played host to a meet and greet with four Band of Brother and Band of Sister members. Joining them for a hot cup of joe was former Wales international rugby union player, and former captain of Gloucester, Gareth Delve. Everyone had a great day, picking Gareth’s brains about what it is like to be a professional rugby player.
Band of Brother member, Brendan Prudom said; "Meeting Gareth was a pleasure as he was a top bloke that hasn't allowed his professional position in the sport of rugby to change his down-to-earth personality. I thought it was a very kind gesture that he took the time to meet the BoBs based in Wales and wish him well in the next few seasons even though he should have signed for the Cardiff Blues! I am proud to be a Band of Brother and be included in all you do in Wales."
