There are many ways to get involved with Help for Heroes and we always like to discuss potential opportunities. Here are some of the other ways that we work with partners:
Band of Brothers gift donations
Help for Heroes is always on the look-out for treats that we can give to those who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses while serving our country. It could range from a gift to go into our annual Christmas stocking campaign to tickets to a major football match: the sky is the limit!
Band of Sisters gift donations
Help for Heroes runs a support network for the relatives of our wounded heroes which offers them camaraderie and friendship with those who have found themselves in similar situations. We send them gifts, run pamper weekends and always look for ways that we can give them the support and break they need. If you would like to help by providing gifts or experiences, then please do get in touch.
Each year, Help for Heroes holds major events to fundraise for the charity. It could be the Heroes Concert which filled Twickenham and saw Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow reunite live on stage for the first time, a Heroes Rugby Challenge at Twickenham or Cricket for Heroes match at the Oval . So we can off-set the costs of these major events, we are always looking to partner with companies who would like to support our events.
Sponsorship – Band of Brothers Challenges
Members of the Band of Brothers take part in extraordinary challenges: from competing in the Race Across America to climbing Kilimanjaro. A number of companies have supported individuals or teams taking part in these challenges, giving them the opportunity to take part in life-changing challenges.
Pro Bono Support
So we can reduce professional costs, we work with a number of companies who offer their services free-of-charge, either on a project basis or in an ongoing capacity. We have been offered free legal, IT and operations advice which has made a real difference to the Charity.
We are always grateful to those who can volunteer to help us. It could be anything from offering I.T. lessons to the wounded, supporting fundraisers at events around the country, to helping pack Christmas Stockings for a day.
Equipment for our Recovery Centres
Our Recovery Centres deliver life-long support to our beneficiaries. We have been able to furnish and equip the centres to an incredibly standard, thanks to support from companies all around the country, creating an unbeatable environment for recovery. If your company could help by donating equipment or help replace worn furnishings please get in touch..
