Five members of Help for Heroes Band of Brothers worked with Corincraft, a leading British fragrance house, to develop Help for Heroes XTREME, The Fragrance for men, to raise funds for their fellow wounded.
Veterans Steve McCulley, Dan Richards, Clive Smith, Corbin Mackin and Karl Hinett worked with Marianne Martin, a senior perfumer and fragrance lecturer from the London College of Fashion. Marianne shared her expert knowledge with the men to enable them to understand the fragrance creation process, the ingredients and the physiology and psychology of smell.
Their mission was to create an assertive fragrance that the everyday man would want to wear time and time again, but which is ruggedly masculine and irresistible to the nose!
Steve, Dan, Clive, Corbin and Karl fully engaged with the creative process and quickly took ownership of their scent. Like true ‘noses’, they would not let go until they had the balance just right.
The men chose a modern, yet timeless fragrance peppered with hot spice and rugged smoky woods diffused with amber and a touch of black leather. This masculine scent is topped with a fresh citrus herbal accord of lemon and basil reminding your hero of the wild outdoors.
At least £3 from the sale of each bottle of Xtreme, The Fragrance, will be donated to H4H.
Robin Taylor, Managing Director of CorinCraft, said: “We are incredibly proud to be associated with Help for Heroes. We are in awe of the amazing work that they do to support British Servicemen and women injured in the line of duty. We hope that Xtreme, the Fragrance will help raise further awareness and the sales will raise valuable funds to support this remarkable Charity.”
