The Lealman brothers; Henry - aged 9, Archie – aged 7, and 6 years old Charlie came up with a brilliant idea to fundraise for Help for Heroes!
The brothers decided to set up a stall outside their family home selling apples to the local community. There had been a number of game fairs and military displays in Scarborough, their local area, and the boys were interested to know what Help for Heroes did. Their parents, Gavin and Lynn, told them about the charity and the boys decided they wanted to do something to help. A good harvest of apples seemed like a good way to do it.
The boys who are all at Kirkbymoorside Primary School have also been selling kindling and fruit and vegetables donated by neighbours.
Well done boys!
