Jack Patrick's Family and Friends

For Extraordinary Dedication in Memory of Jack Patrick

Jack Patrick was only 20 when his life was taken by a rare disease in November 2015.

Because he was a supporter of Help for Heroes, his friends and family have continued to raise funds in his memory.

Shaun and Emma have arranged many events locally in Leicestershire. With support from the whole community, they held a football match, a cricket match, auctions, raffles, curry nights and even a wheelie bin race!

Katie bravely did a parachute jump in April; she received 92 donations totalling over £6000 which is an astonishing figure for a sky dive.

James Nutt, Jack’s best friend, cycled 1000 miles in a week - visiting all 20 Premiership football grounds.

Amazingly Nutty’s challenge raised £11,000. Other fundraisers included Ian Richardson who took part in our Three Peaks challenge.

Between them this team of family and friends have raised over £25,000 and been the best example of imaginative fundraising in the local community.
