Tough Mudder, probably the toughest event on the planet, announced that ‘Mudders’ across the UK have raised over £1million for Help for Heroes – the official UK charity partner of Tough Mudder.
By climbing through mud, diving into icy water and running through electric wires at Tough Mudder events, the ‘Mudders’ have collectively raising over £1million to provide much needed facilities to help wounded, injured and sick servicemen, women and veterans’ recovery through sports.

HOW TOUGH MUDDER SUPPORT HELP FOR HEROES
Since 2012, Tough Mudder has proudly supported Help for Heroes by offering participants a discount on their entry if they raise £120 or over for the charity. Participants and spectators are also encouraged to donate directly either via the website or at the event. This partnership will produce significant donations and will fund specific projects to support our wounded injured and sick on their recovery. They have already introduced climbing walls and climbing towers at recovery centres and a Tough Mudder branded Trim Trail at the flagship Tedworth House Recovery Centre.
