Regulars at The Activity Zone (TAZ), Malmesbury are likely to have bumped into Amy Pointer (perhaps even literally) during the last six weeks. This plucky Inpired by her Grenadier Guard broth Joe who is currently training at catterick, the 10yr old has been battling away during lanes sessions at the pool in an incredible attempt to swim the equivalent of the entire length of Loch Ness.

That's 1455 lengths in total and more than 23 miles!

On Sunday 29th January at 1.00pm Amy will be completing her amazing swim by attempting the last mile in a single session. Please come down to watch and cheer her on!

James Higgs of TAZ has arranged for some of his staff to take to the pool to encourage Amy , with members of the triathlon squad also diving in offer support!

We are very excited to welcome Olympic Gold Medallist Duncan Goodhew to TAZ who has kindly agreed a visit to support Amy's swim for Help for Heroes.
