The Defence Recovery Capability
The Defence Recovery Capability (DRC) is a Ministry of Defence (MoD) initiative, in partnership with H4H and The Royal British Legion (TRBL) alongside other service charities and agencies.
It provides comprehensive support to the wounded, injured and those who become sick while serving.
Each Service - Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force - cares for its own wounded, injured or sick.
Their efforts are coordinated at MoD level by the Defence Recovery Steering Group (DRSG) which comprises of service personnel, MoD staff, H4H, TRBL as well as the Confederation of British Service and Ex Service Organisation (COBSEO).
