Ward Gethin

QBE Ward Gethin's year of raising money for wounded Servicemen and women has now come to an end. Ward Gethin told H4H: "It has been a pleasure to do this, with in-house events such as jacket potato lunch, pancake day, breakfast morning, cake and coffee morning and finally but no means least the GEAR run.

"Our two events which involved inviting the public/clients to join us to raise money were our cake and coffee morning held in March and our Teddy Bear Picnic/Cream Tea held in August. Ward Gethin partners have generously topped up Ward Gethinour final figure raised, making a grand total of £3,000.

"We would like to say a big thank you to all those that donated raffle prizes, tombola prizes or supported us by putting up posters. The public/clients for attending, to all staff that supported the events from King's Lynn and Swaffham and to the staff on the Social Club committee who helped us raise this money especially Carole Hooks and Gill Dolder.

"Finally thank you to the Lynn News for their continued support in publicising this event."
