We have been very pro-active the first half of 2011. With a running total of £137,000, we are very proud of all those who have committed their time and energy to support the cause.
Vauxhall employees and retailers will continue to support Help for Heroes through 2011. After raising over £100,000 in their first year of fundraising in 2010, staff are putting their thinking caps on to come up with new and innovative ideas to raise as much money as they can for this meaningful charity.
Vehicle support
Bryn Parry and his H4H team took delivery of 4 new Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourers in April to help with their business activity, as well as a New Movano Van to assist their merchandise sales around the country. Discussions are also under way to find the most cost effective way to provide Mini Buses, for their new Recovery Centre’s opening throughout 2011.
On his visit to Vauxhall’s head office, Bryn Parry kindly presented our Managing Director, Duncan Aldred with a framed certificate certifying Vauxhall as an Official Partner of Help for Heroes, for which we are very proud.
