Ellis Training
Cuffley company Ellis Training, which specialises in the training of refrigeration and air-conditioning engineers, held a special 20th Anniversary birthday party at Ponsbourne Park De Vere Hotel on the evening of Saturday, 12th March 2011, to raise money for Help for Heroes. Attended by 130 guests Saturday’s birthday celebration helped raise more than £4,000 for the Ellis Training’s 2011 fundraising campaign for their chosen charity. Together with additional funds, raised from January to March 2011, from fundraising activities such as a book sale, hamper raffle, cake sale and hot drink sales at the training centre, it takes the total sum raised thus far to over £6,000.
Ellis Training’s Sales Director, Joy Ellis, said, “It was a wonderful evening and a fantastic fundraiser with huge support from our family, friends, neighbours and business associates. We are very proud to be celebrating 20 successful years in business in Hertfordshire and equally proud to support a fantastic charity, Help for Heroes, a truly worthy cause. We are also very grateful to Ponsbourne Park Hotel management, staff and other hotel guests who also supported our event by purchasing H4H wristbands and made cash donations on the night. The combined support was truly outstanding.”
