On 13th February, Compass Paranormal will host a special spooky event in aid of Help for Heroes. Approximately 200 ticket holders will gather at Fort Amherst in Kent for an evening of paranormal activity hosted by ‘Angel Lady’ Jacky Newcomb.

The evening will start at 9pm with everyone assembling in a grand marquee which will give them a chance to meet each other, the team and mediums. Jackie will give an introduction to the evening and let everyone know what to expect. There will be a re enactment group playing drums during the event opening and will be there to add to the atmosphere throughout the evening.

Guests will then be divided into smaller groups and taken around by the team, giving them an historical tour and a chance to conduct séances and vigils. There will also be the opportunity to try out their own methods of communication.

The team will set up equipment around the fort for the purpose of their experiments, which they hope the guests will get a chance to experience, including a spirit board and a coffin!

There will also be a selection of spiritual celebrities appearing on the night, including Barrie John, a psychic medium from TV’s ‘Most Haunted’ and Roy Roberts, winner of London’s Best Medium.

The night will finish at 3am. It will be filmed and aired on Sky TV’s Unexplained Channel 201 and also released on DVD.

Tickets for this special event are priced £69 and are available through the Compass Paranormal website. To find out more, visit www.compassparanormalevents.co.uk and sign up to the spookiest event in aid of H4H so far!

Fort Amherst

Fort Amherst is probably one of the best surviving examples of Georgian military architecture. The main underground tunnel system is steeped in history and is said to be rife with paranormal activity. Visitors have experienced male and female voices, the sound of footsteps, and the apparition of a male figure.
