H4H Rides to Recovery Series
Catterick
Sunday 29th July 2012
Our bike rides are our signature events and we hope that these rides will be just as popular as our previous UK Bike Rides, with thousands of you joining us across the four rides. Join as an individual or in a group, bring your family and friends and maybe even ride in Fancy Dress – together, we can make this a ride to remember!
The R2R Series will take place on four Sundays in 2012, each based at one of the new Personnel Recovery Centres (PRCS) for which the series is raising money for. The PRCS provide our wounded servicemen and women with a supportive, yet familiar military environment, in which to recover once they have left Headley Court.
Phoenix House is a new build centre within the garrison at Catterick where H4H have committed funds towards the development of this exciting project. By joining us in this cycle you will be raising funds for this PRC which serves the North East of the country. For more information on the Catterick recovery centre click here.
The R2R Catterick will immerse you amongst the spectacular Yorkshire Dales. With some steep windy descents, and hefty climbs we will truly get a feel for this magnificent countryside! Dropping down into the valleys we return via the market town of Richmond and spend a gentler afternoon in the rolling countryside alongside the Wiske and Swale rivers.
CHILDREN: We are delighted to accept younger supporters over 9 years old on the Rides to Recovery. Please note, the ride takes place on the roads and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Help for Heroes cannot accept responsibility for your child on the day. To register participants under 18 years old, please contact H4H and we will be happy to help.
