OVERVIEW

Help for Heroes running team has once again teamed up with Running Crazy Ltd an amazing H4H package to take part in an overseas marathon in one of Europe's most exciting and vibrant cities, Barcelona. Those Help for Heroes supporters who sign up will enjoy a weekend overseas, running excursion planned to the last detail by Running Crazy's highly competent and experienced team, whilst raising funds for our wounded. In 2011 we had an amazing team of 32 Help for Heroes runners who took part in the race and the feedback from the weekend was brilliant.

THE ROUTE

Over 15,000 runners took part in the 2011 event, touring some of the Catalan capital's incredible landmarks as they made their way along the 26.2 mile course, and the 2012 race promises to be even better. The tourist board in Barcelona are pulling out all the stops to ensure that this becomes one of the great City Marathons and once the race is out of the way, the sights, sounds and unbeatable entertainment on the lively streets of Barcelona are yours for the taking.   

Above all, the trip will offer a chance to run a fantastic course in an incredible city,  raising sponsorship for the wounded servicemen and women of today's conflicts and forging close friendships along the way.

TRIP SUPPORT

Along with guaranteed entry in the hugely popular marathon,each runner will be provided with guides and transfers from the point of reaching Barcelona Airport, 4* hotel accommodation,an evening meal and early breakfast. A pre-race meeting and course briefing will take place on the day of the race, as well as support for runners and spectators during the race and the all-important post-race party!
The package also includes the collection and delivery of race numbers, timing chips, goody bags, and much, much more!

BOOKING FLIGHTS AND REGISTERING

For a suggested minimum fundraising target of £605 all H4H runners will be provided with the full package. Please note – flights are not included.
