FAT-FREE SULTANA LOAF

Preparation time: 75 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Difficulty: Very easy!
Makes 1 cake, approximately 12 slices
1 Mug semi skimmed milk
1 Mug Demerara sugar
1 Mug sultanas
2 Mugs self–rising flour
1. Mix sugar, milk and sultanas and leave to soak overnight.
2. Add the SR flour and mix (it’ll be a thick consistency).
Put in a lined load tin and bake for about 1 hour at 180 degrees.
Although this is a fat free loaf, I do spoil the beneficial effect by serving it slathered in butter…
