Help for Heroes is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line, aimed at enhancing the physical and mental well-being of our communities.

From March 2024, we are joining forces on a shared mission to support the Armed Forces community over the next three years which will see Ambassador Cruise Line actively raise funds for Help for Heroes, offer exclusive access to cruises for veterans, and host a variety of onboard activities tailored to promote the work and values of the charity.

On 6 June 2024, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, both Ambassador cruise ships will fly the Help for Heroes flag off the Normandy coast. These two special cruises will include:

  • Talks from Help for Heroes veterans
  • Special lunch menu (made with rationed items)
  • Themed vignettes
  • Great British Deck Party with special afternoon tea
  • Remembrance services
  • Special commemorative pin badge

We are proud to partner with Help for Heroes, an organisation close to the hearts of many. The shared values of Ambassador and Help for Heroes make this partnership a natural fit, and we are eager to work together to raise awareness and support the incredible veterans who have sacrificed so much for their service.

Christian Verhounig

Chief Executive Officer, Ambassador Cruise Line

Ambassador Cruise Line, established in 2021, specializes in premium-value no-fly cruises for the UK market. Since its inaugural voyage in 2022 with the ship Ambience, the cruise line has expanded its fleet with the addition of Ambition in May 2023, offering sailings from eight regional UK ports alongside its home port of London Tilbury.

We are incredibly thrilled to embark on this journey with Ambassador Cruise Line, whose dedication mirrors our own commitment to serving the Armed Forces Community. These inclusive cruises offer our veterans a chance to combat feelings of loneliness and isolation, providing them with unforgettable experiences in the company of loved ones.
